About Me
These are my stories and thoughts on life and the fun absurdities of humans, my mind and my life. I am a series of determined events and a product of learning and spiritful yearnings. I have written stories all my life and poems for as long as I can remmber. I have studied the high arts in University and the low arts in many pubs around the world. I have caroused the planet, travelled the nations and met the various pigmented people of the globe. I have tried every form of dance, drug and dabbled in various doodles and worlds of fancy. To sustain myself when pennies are poorly I pour pints for punters, where I learn some valuable lessons, one of which is never listen to a drunk in the hope that they’ll listen back. I have a bastion of work which is scribbled on pencil inhabiting boxes in various attics in Ireland which someday I will add here.
My aim here is to tell you my story and to teach you how to do some things the same and some differently.

Great blog John!

As an alcoholic and struggling with sobriety, your interviews and musing are a breath of fresh air man. Keep at it and thank you.

Cheers Glen,
Glad I can help any way at all…I’m reading a great book at the moment called Dead Drunk (http://paulgarrigan.com/dead-drunk/ – have a look at it if you get the time…some great thoughts and ideas in it for all of us who struggle.
